Let’s not beat around the bush—the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ 4G is one of those smartphones that knows exactly what it wants to be. It’s not here to dethrone flagships or flex cutting-edge processing power.
Instead, this device walks into the room with its head held high, flaunting a slim 6.8mm profile and featherlight 162g body, and it owns it. If you’re the type who appreciates aesthetic design above all, this one deserves a double take.
Design and Build
Infinix has undeniably nailed the design game. The Hot 50 Pro+ 4G feels premium in the hand despite being made mostly of plastic. There’s little flex or creaking, and the aggressively curved edges make it super comfortable to hold. The two-stage chamfered and serrated camera island design adds a nice visual flair rarely seen at this price point.

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display is protected by some unspecified version of Gorilla Glass, and the device carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It’s not rugged, but it’s enough to survive daily mishaps — just don’t take it swimming.
Physical buttons feel decent but could be a bit chunkier for easier use. The under-display fingerprint scanner works reliably and quickly.
Display and Audio
The display is easily one of the Hot 50 Pro+ 4G’s strong suits.

You get a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 1 billion colors, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,300 nits — impressive for a budget phone. Whether indoors or under direct sunlight, the screen remains visible and vibrant.
On top of that, stereo speakers tuned by JBL deliver solid sound quality. They’re loud enough for casual media consumption and gaming, though lacking a bit in bass, as expected at this tier.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Hot 50 Pro+ 4G runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 (6nm), paired with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of expandable UFS 2.2 storage.

It’s not a powerhouse by today’s standards, but it gets everyday tasks done smoothly — think social media browsing, YouTube bingeing, and casual gaming.

It runs Android 14 skinned with XOS 14.5, promising one major Android update. The software has a colorful, slightly busy UI but offers useful AI features like grammar checking, text optimization, doodle-to-image generation, and an AI object eraser in the photo gallery.

Still, given the modest Helio G100 chipset, demanding games and apps will push it to its limits.
